awana boys and girls club

In Awana our goal is to reach boys and girls with the good news of Christ Jesus, training them to know, love, and serve Him. We partner with parents in developing spiritually strong children who will follow Jesus Christ.

We are so excited to announce that our Awana program has begun the new Club Year. We meet on Saturdays from 3:00 to 4:30 PM outdoors in the parking lot at the Restoration Church building, 10960 Via Frontera, San Diego, CA 92127. Families with children from Preschool thru 6th Grade are invited to register. The Registration and Liability Release Form is available for download at this link: 2020-21_AWANA_Boys_and_Girls_Club_Registration_Form_with_Liability_Waiver.pdf

What is awana?

The name Awana is an acronym for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" This comes from 2 Timothy 2:15, "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."  Awana Boys & Girls Club's goal is to give children the opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus, no matter their background.

We meet most Saturdays during the Poway USD school year, from 3:00 - 4:30pm. Consult the Church Calendar for holiday closures.
